Yep, once you're wet the body seems to generate enough warmth that you don't mind the temperature, and clothing (such as acrylic and nylon) tend to keep the heat in. I've been the sea in February several years ago (at Brighton) and in the local river in January, it was quite fun walking home drenched through. A polyester layer on top helped stop any windchill. I still prefer warmer water though if I'm going to be in it for more than several minutes. I do love the thrill of an occasional cold shower fully dressed though, and often end up giggling :) Stay wet, feel wonderful and be happy :)
